Today, the Joint stock company for Telecoms & Informatics (CT-IN) and Ericsson-Sweden have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a comprehensive-strategic cooperation on Trading-technical Services-Value added services software for 2-2.5-3G Mobile networks. It's the first time, a company who is keeping the worldwide-largest market share of mobile infrastructure has committed to cooperate with a company who is the Vietnamese leader in mobile technical engineering services. This strategic alliance will surely contribute to improve quality of mobile networks in Vietnam, on the other hand to strengthen the position of CT-IN as well as Ericsson in Vietnam and Asia-Pacific.

an official partner of Fujitsu in Vietnam.

On May 20, 2005, Fujitsu
Asia Pte, Ltd and CT-IN signed Partner Agreement which makes a crucial
change in their cooperation progress. Accordingly, CT-IN has already
become official distributor of electronic/computer equipment supplied by
Fujitsu in Vietnam. Fujitsu always sees Vietnam as a potential telecom
market among Asian markets. With signing the Partner
Agreement, Fujitsu hopes that CT-IN is going to assist Fujitsu in
expanding its market share in Vietnam up to 5 percent in the near
future. Under the Agreement, Fujitsu commits to organize training
courses
overseas for CT-IN’s engineers and also provides technical supports
related to equipment. Besides, sales and marketing staff of CT-IN will
be trained with skill of marketing and sales. On the other side, CT-IN
will exert its best efforts to exploit its traditional market, seek new
markets to promote Fujitsu’s products and become a trusted partner of
Fujitsu in Vietnam.

has been implementing Administration
Information System (AIS) for
Vietnam Post and Telecommunication (VNPT).

With the guidance from VNPT leadership in applying IT technology in
VNPT’s management, especially employing management tool to accelerate,
supervise works assigned from VNPT to its subsidiaries, VNPT Office
decided to implement AIS linking VNPT Office and other Departments.
Joint Stock Company for Telecoms and Informatics (CT-IN), with years of
experience in manufacturing Workflow sofware for Enterprises has been
assigned be VNPT to implement this project.
After 6 months of research and development, AIS has been set up for
all PCs in VNPT. AIS becomes an important information system, ensuring
safe information lien from leadership to Departments of VNPT. Up to now,
the system has accelerated the speed, effectiveness for workflow in VNPT

researched and designed the Alarm controller for BTS, model BV-2.1MP |
With
the rapid growth in mobile service, the operators have accelerated the
number of BTSs. The problem herewith is that the number of personnel
cannot not rise with the same rate, and the solution is building an
effective remote control system.
To
meet the demand of controlling air conditioners and of sending signals
to OMC, CT-IN staff has researched and successfully designed the Alarm
controller for BTS, model BV-2.1MP.
Functions:

+ Air conditioner alarm and control
BV-2.1MP
has been researched and tested for a long period of time at CT-IN
Telecom Center, the equipment shows a stability at severe conditions,
with various air conditioners, easy operating, flexible connection with
different sensors, and especially with many extendable options.

won the bid for supplying and implementing the first phase of the Video Conferencing
Network (VCN) of
the Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications (VNPT) |
CT-IN
and the
Posts&Telecommunications Institute of Technology
(PTIT) have signed a contract for supplying and implementing the VNPT's National
Video Conferencing Network of a value of about VND 9 billions. Video
conferencing networks are deployed worldwide for useful purposes such as
video conference, distant learning, remote healthcare, etc.
CT-IN was evaluated as the best candidate for this project.

VNPT's national DCN
will serve as infrastructure for the future Telecom Management Network

VietSpell, a software for checking spelling errors in Vietnamese,
running in MS Word 97 environment and at the same
time displaying the corrections, has been implemented at the Company for management tasks, and now is sold
to markets. This software product can identify itself Vietnamese coding fonts, support 18
various Vietnamese fonts and can convert one font to other without changing the document viewing
form. During the test for 10 000 documents of various forms this software has worked very stably on large documents with tables, indices and compound words. In particular, this software records and saves user's spelling corrections and
displays those as suggestions later if the same spelling mistake occurs, in order to speed up
the spelling checking process. The spelling checking speed of the software is 100
pages per 5 minutes and font converting 3 minutes per page. This software is easy to use
for all types of users.
CT-IN is now trying to upgrade this spelling software to a new
version with spelling and grammar checking at the same time so that it can also check and correct the
grammar mistakes and convert more other fonts.
