During 2005, the Joint Stock Company for Telecoms and Informatics (CT-IN) was awarded: the “Software Production Quality Management Enterprise”
certificate of merit; the Sao Khue certificate from VINASA, and a gold medal in the 15th EXPO international fair for CT-IN’s AIS - Management Information System. These awards are a worthy
reflection on the efforts of our technicians, engineers and the whole CT-IN staff in recent years.
The comprehensive and stable development of both the informatics and telecommunication sectors has helped CT-IN establish a firm foot-hole in the
local market, and it has developed its reputation to a level where it has been chosen as project partner by many famous foreign corporations such as Motorola, Siemens, Ericsson, NEC, Nortel,
Fujitsu, and Cisco. CT-IN is firmly committed to the goal of becoming a producer and supplier of international-standard telecommunications and IT services. CT-IN is well-prepared to benefit
from the opportunities created by Viet Nam’s membership of WTO.
As a telecommunication and information technology business that depends directly on the quality of its personnel, CT-IN has, since its early days of
establishment, focused on human resource training to develop promising young professional staff need to implement the firm’s business expansion and development strategy.
Initially, CT-IN employed only 12 young skilled engineers. The company has grown strongly and now employs hundreds of young technicians. The
determination and intelligence or our young technicians are key assets that allow CT-IN to actively respond to new changes, and to rapidly create and develop a professional working environment
in line with ISO and CMM3 standards.
In addition to growing domestic demand, CT-IN realises that telecommunication and information technology services are two inter-dependent sectors that
will develop strongly in tandem with the international trend towards economic integration. Therefore, the CT-IN management have sought every opportunity to cooperate with foreign partners so
that our first generation of engineers and technical staff will learn from international experience and build an even more solid foundation for future development.
Originally focussing on telecommunications services, CT-IN has been an active participant in the information technology market (including integration
system and software development) since 2001, and has already recorded notable successes including developing specialized software for foreign companies such as Mustang Technologies, and
Softcontrol. The company’s software products are now being supplied to American and European customers. CT-IN is the only certified Advanced Technologies Partner of Cisco Vietnam and
distributes and promotes the sale of products for other internationally renowned companies such as IBM, Fujitsu and Oracle.
While the services sector only accounts for 30 per cent of Viet Nam’s GDP, service sectors in developed countries typically account for up to 70 per
cent of their GDP. In expectation of rapid service sector growth, CT-IN has continually increased and broadened investment in its services system since CT-IN was established as joint-stock
company in 2001.
In the fields of Telecommunication and Information Technology, the company continues to strengthen its position in the Vietnamese market as the
leading provider of Solutions - Products and System Integration. With ten-years experience, CT-IN continues to consolidate its top position, holding about 60 per cent of the market share in
assembly and installation of mobile network infrastructure system integration services for the country’s largest GSM businesses such as VinaFone and MobiFone. With its technical advantage and
development capacity, CT-IN will continue to strengthen its leading position in supplying CDMA system integration service to new customers such as: S-phone, EVN – Telecom and Hanoi Telecom.
“Turning the shortages of yesterday into the availability of today and the perfection of tomorrow", provides CT-IN with opportunities for continuous
and stable development, said Mr Nguyen Tri Dung, General Director. Building on our strong comparative advantage in human skills, from 2006 the company will expand into new areas with the aim
of supplying a full package of service to partners and customers, and will also explore opportunities to launch value-added services on mobile and fixed networks. CT-IN will continue to
develop its human and technical capacity to meet the high standards needed to attract leading foreign partners. This will also help ensure that CT-IN develops an international reputation for
quality, as Viet Nam integrates into the world economy.
