Joint Stock Company for Telecoms and Informatics (CT-IN) was
equitized last year from Factory

Post and Telecommunication (VNPT). Up to now, CT-IN has been prosperously operating.

only completes function in radio and optical transmission assigned by
VNPT, CT-IN has been expanding working fields and improving business
efficiency.After Vinaphone Network’s operation, CT-IN made a closed
cooperation with MOTOROLA and SIEMENS in supplying installation service
for BTSs. Beginning with 12 young engineers of GSM team who worked in 61
provincial P&T network
with supervision form foreign experts, CT-IN now have more than 70
telecommunication and 20 informatics engineers. The partners have highly
appreciated the CT-IN teams’ high skill, strick working
responsibility, and especially “industrial” working style. At this
moment, CT-IN is expanding its market to the cooperation with Ericsson
and Alcatel for VMS network. In year 2002, the Company sent 12 engineers

established its IT Center. The Center is programming software for
SysconSoft of The Federal Germany and is joining with other research
centers of VNPT such as CDiT to develop VA software and
telecommunication network management program.
Effective
operation
Although not being
the leading software manufacturers of VNPT such as VDC, CDiT, CT-IN
has operated both actively and effectively in this field. For
only a year, IT Center has a proportion of more than 40% in revenue, in
2003 it is estimated to a number of 30-40 billion VND. CT-IN has
recently been one out of only 4 ATPs (Advanced Technologies Partner) of
Cisco in Asia.
Activeness in many

Alarm controller for BTS has been playing a key role in expanding CT-IN
new services and also in fulfilling VNPT’ assigned jobs.
