Hanoi, December 01, 2002 CT-IN has been implementing Administration Infomation System (AIS) for Vietnam Post and Telecommunication (VNPT).

With the guidance from VNPT leadership in applying IT technology in VNPT’s management, especially employing management tool to accelerate, supervise works assigned from VNPT to its subsidiaries, VNPT Office decided to implement AIS linking VNPT Office and other Departments. Joint Stock Company for Telecoms and Informatics (CT-IN), with years of experience in manufacturing Workflow sofware for Enterprises has been assigned be VNPT to implement this project.

After 6 months of research and development, AIS has been set up for all PCs in VNPT. AIS becomes an important information system, ensuring safe information lien from leadership to Departments of VNPT. Up to now, the system has accelerated the speed, effectiveness for workflow in VNPT and gained much success. 

• Information management has been standardised, digitalised and systemised according to the Government Rules.

• Information can be rapidly distributed, flexible searched, which will save much more time than via normal courier.

• Information management work will be systemised with specific detail. The leadership and subordinates can handle all this information so they can manage time.

• Searching tools allow user to fast and fully access documents just by using Click-and-See.

• Systematically specifically information distribution.

• Monthly, weekly report will be automatically issued and it takes only some minutes.

• AIS has changed characters and effectiveness of the subordinates’ work. They can exchange the work so that it will save more time.

• Reduce cost in photocopy job, machinery, time and confidentiality will protected...

• The system links among members for the general work, that will increase their responsibilities, improve working style and environment.

• The quality, effectiveness of each Department, member can be quantitative that will ensure egality in entreprise.

      According to Mr. Ngo Sy Thuyet, Head of VNPT’s IT department, the implementation has changed not only method of information processing but also Management meeting of General Director with Departments. If in the past it took half a day to summarise information, now only 1 hour before the meeting is just enough. Besides, the Department in 57A Huynh Thuc Khang can receive the necessary documentation right after the VNPT Leadership give out the work while in the past it must to be awaiting for 3 delivery per day between 18 Nguyen Du and 57A Huynh Thuc Khang.
